Brian Snitker joined the Atlanta Braves as a player in 1977 and in 1980 stopped playing to pick up the role of rowing instructor for the Braves. After Brian Snitker’s service as rowing instructor, he served various roles for the Atlanta Braves and was appointed as manager in 2016.

Troy later joined the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2013 but retired in 2014 due to a concussion.
