Christine Severino, a mother of five from New Jersey who was born in Pennsylvania, was killed in a car accident in Tredyffrin Township on Saturday, Jan. 28, according to her family. She was en route to her second job.
She was 41 years old. Her loved ones will always remember Chrissie as a fun-loving and devoted mother who enjoyed family trips to the seaside, neighbourhood get-togethers, and nights out at the casino with her closest friends, according to her obituary.
Along with her children, Chrissie Severino is survived by her father Ron Severino, grandmother Marianne Batchelor, two sisters, Jaci and Roni, a brother, Nick, and a huge extended family.
Community Campaign
Communities she leaves behind are currently taking efforts to ensure the care of her children. A few days after Chrissie passed away, her friend Machele Kortum started a GoFundMe page to help the family through this trying time.
As of today Thursday, February 2, the campaign has astonishingly raised $42,000. Machele believes that the family will benefit from this money as they “bring the pieces back together.”
What Happened To Christine Severino
Early on Saturday morning in Chester County, Pennsylvania, a head-on collision going the wrong way claimed the life of a single mother of five. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Christine Severino, 41, of Pennsville, was struck by a Philadelphia driver, 29, who was travelling the wrong way while she was travelling west on Route 422 near Tredyffrin at 3:25 a.m.
Police claim that Severino’s car spun 180 degrees in the opposite direction before hitting the roof. At the scene, she was pronounced deceased. The driver’s charges or identity were kept a secret by the authorities. From King of Prussia to Hershey, Route 422 is a four-lane road.
